1. Turning the Page on the 2011/12 49ers

    Offseason is here.

It’s pretty evident what needs to be done. Find WR(s), RG, CB and fill ins for those, who don’t re-sign.

Thanks to Matt Maiocco, we now know who (whom? [I can’t figure it out]) may be on their way out. Alex Smith, Dashon Goldson, Carlos Rogers, Ahmad Brooks, Ted Ginn Jr, Josh Morgan, and Adam Snyder are probably the top targets for re-signing.

I’m not good at judging draft talent, but here are what early mock drafts are expecting for the 49ers… Kendall Wright WR (FungkeeFresh), Alshon Jeffery WR (NFL’s Future), Alshon Jeffery WR (Mel Kiper), Janoris Jenkins CB (NFL Draft Info)

There’s always free agency. Here are some intriguing names… Reggie Wayne, Wes Welker, Vincent Jackson, DeSean Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Marques Colston, Stevie Johnson, Brandon Lloyd, Robert Meachem, Mario Manningham, Mike Wallace, Carl Nicks, Ben Grubbs, Brandon Carr, Ronde Barber

With our free agents, the NFL Draftees, and the league’s free agents looming, I have 5 words I now live by… “In Trent Baalke I Trust.”

The man has struck gold in past the two drafts. Aldon Smith, Chris Culliver, Kendall Hunter, Bruce Miller, Anthony Davis, Mike Iupati, NaVorro Bowman, Anthony Dixon, Kyle Williams. It’s so hard to get value out of first round picks, but Baalke FOUND AN ALL PRO IN THE THIRD ROUND! (NaVorro)

Anyway, this is the current status of the 49ers.

Oh yeah… for those curious, Patrick Willis is under contract until 2017!

    WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!

    Thoughts?
